"Six years after their last adventure, Lee and Carter, one of the movies' oddest crime-fighting tandems, are slowing down a bit in "Rush Hour 3." Watchers who warned that such a time gap would cost the franchise some energy -- especially from Jackie Chan, now in his early 50s aren't entirely off the mark, but the pic nevertheless stays true to the franchise formula of East-West fusion action, broad cultural comedy and international intrigue, this time largely in Paris. August rollout is like money in the bank for New Line, which will milk this likely final installment for maximum revenues down the ancillary stream. Hello Jeff, I think you can see that I am enjoying the site. Hope I am not using up too much memory on the server with my long winded posts. Just received my copy of "who Needs Sleep" this week. I took it to the job mid week and displayed it on the cart for passers-by. Loaned it to the script person (aka girl) overnight. I Watched it last night. It is wonderful! A super job by all. Haskell is great! Extreamly powerful. I saw you and many friends. I did fall apart at the end when I saw Mike Stone's wife (and baby). I am going to bring the DVD on every job (buy a few more copies too). If we all keep a copy with a self addressed bubble wrap envelope (like the …

Trying to sort out a problem a few people are having --- unable to type in the composition pane when starting a new post or reply. It's like the editor has lost its mind. This is a weird one but I will keep working on it.

Hey Jeff, First off, thanks for all of your hard work keeping JW Sound up and running. It is simply the best resource for the sound community EVER. I recently watched one of my old favorites, Strange Days, and I saw that you were the mixer on it. Knowing much more about sound now then when I first saw it (when I was 13), it seems like this must have been an extraordinarily difficult job. I was wondering if you could share some stories about some of the unique problems you must have had and what your solutions were. Specifically, I was wondering how you were able to get clean sound on some the POV sequences. Thanks!

Any way to make that happen? When an individual is blocked, their words don't appear in the thread, but there's a place holder with the name and the capacity to show the post if I wish. Good. Still, all the words arrive in emails of threads I follow, and it would be nice if I could opt out of that. Thanks a lot, Jeff, for all you do for the sound community. -- Jan

It was a pleasure to meet you today, and I want to thank you for the kind words spoken of David Ronne. He was a good friend, and he will be dearly missed by all the lives he touched.

Jeff, the board needs a Favicon... When I look my bookmarks, the site has a blank icon.. worse yet, the history even shows your favicon as that google 'blocked' favicon.. which is not right. Wheres the Favicon? So, I took the liberty of making you one Jeff.. Download and put it on the board here. http://deepmagicstudios.com/downloads/favicon_123145.zip

Hey Jeff--I forwarded you an email from my ISP, we can't figure out why my office and studio computers suddenly can't load JWSOUNDGROUP at all (blank page, or hung on the first page). I'm accessing the site now through my phone's "personal hotspot"! All the other sites I go to are ok, we switched DNS from our ISP to Google on our router, updated browsers, tried IE, Firefox, Safari on 3 or 4 computers--no go. Bummer. Let me know (by email I guess) if your ISP sees anything that wold cause this issue for me. I don't see anyone else complaining, so I guess it's just my path affected. thanks

On the mobile version of the site, once I click on the classifieds section, I am not allowed to return to the main forum using the link in the top left. It just reloads the classified s page instead of going up a level.

Jeff, I made a tongue in cheek comment on the shortage of clowns item which seems to have dissapeared. Has it been moderated if so and I have offended anyone I aplogise wholeheartedly. Malcolm Davies AMPS. CAS.
