In this interview Jon Pasche shares the fascinating story behind the tongue and lips commission - meeting Mick Jagger, being told he could do better, and being paid £50." Very interesting wind protection for the mic. Looks like a "Micky Mouse" insignia on it, This was a Disney show after all.

Here's a FB gallery of stuff I saw while working in Moore for a few days: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10201314722098820.1073741825.1495912841&type=1&l=ba51115247 Pretty surreal, the damage. A wonder more folks weren't hurt.

To mark the Yellow Box’s 125th birthday this year, its editors launched a Tumblr to highlight some of its otherwise forgotten images. Found is Nat Geo’s productivity-killing photostream, drawn from its sprawling archive of unpublished vintage prints. “If we haven’t seen them, it’s likely that they aren’t known outside the offices of National Geographic,” says Web Barr, the young designer at Nat Geo who conceived of Found. “Figuring out a way to…

I've attached a photo of the bench at the Pentagon September 11 Memorial dedicated to the memory of a member of the DC production community, Jerry Moran. Jerry worked as the shop manager at the Washington Source for Lighting and occasional freelance jib operator in the '90's. I think of Jerry often, especially when I pass the Pentagon or Arlington National Cemetery, where Jerry's remains are inter…
