Based on user feedback and an excellent suggestion we have now implemented direct control of routing/pan functionality, trim, and transport control without having to leave the home screen or use 2 hands. People are still asking me which new products shown at NAB stick out in my mind as being significant. There were a quite few, but when considering the ones that are actually available and fully functional, the list is thinned out quite a bit. Those that remain include the Rode Lav and Sound Devices MixPre-D. Nomad will be able to record at 96 KHz. It should also record at 192KHz with track count restrictions. This was an oversight in the current specifications that were put out this week. As I am still not home yet please cross post this to all other forums that might be interested. Thanks Glenn

I am glad to be able to say that our service turnaround time is averaging 3 days once again, not counting shipping and weekends. We had been hammered by block changes on equipment and were seeing more than twice the usual repairs. Service time turnaround had stretched out to two or three weeks, which was unpleasant for both our customers and ourselves. Block changes dried up in January and we were able to catch up. Yesterday while changing the batteries in my Ts3 I noticed the battery pac was cracked on end. I called Deneke and was told there was a problem with the white colored pac and they would send me a black replacement pac, free of charge.
