This is a first for us. If you have an old TASCAM USB interface and buy a new TASCAM USB audio interface, you can get a rebate of $40/$60/$80 when you send the old one back to us. We're buying it back, so you don't have to hawk it on eBay and deal with questions from someone who doesn't realize it's legacy gear and thought they were getting a bargain. http://tascam.com/general/twogreatoffers

As you might well know Ambient has dedicated itself to all kind of known and unexpected problems a recordist may face in his everyday work. Our products cover little problem solvers and whole systems ranging from from obvious tasks like microphone booming over sync & timecode to the most extraordinary underwater recordings. This is a wide field alone but with the typical set becoming more and more complex so are the related complications that arise. In our tradition to bring solutions for people working in the field …

I'm re-building our website, and I want to have a section of user pictures. I'm looking for pictures of K-Tek products in action. I noticed many of our products in the "cool boom op pictures" thread, but I didn't want to use them without anyone's permission. So, if any of you would be willing to take a few seconds to e-mail me any cool pictures you have, I'd greatly appreciate it. My e-mail is dave at ktekbooms dot com. -Dave

Every time I have to deal with one of our regular manufacturers, I am reminded how lucky we are that the customer service is always so impeccable. Comtek, PSC, SD, Lectro, Zaxcom (although I have no direct experience), and other folks like Rackman in Sylmar, etc. Today it was Lectro. Thank you to Dean in service. Robert
