Just finished up my latest gig and posting up again to let you guys know I'm available for sound third or boom-op. In full disclosure, I'm somewhat green at boom-op, but have done well at 2nd boom and have received solid atta-boys from my mixers. I have attached my resume and invite you to review it at your leisure. Most importantly though, I hope you will hang on to it and use it when you have a need. Cheers ! Cujo Cujo SOUND Crew Resume.doc

It is what it is. I've worked with this Director before and he is a nice person to work with. They are shooting some pick-up shots tomorrow in Los Angeles and will need someone with a basic sound kit. If you are still a newbie or have nothing else going on tomorrow then give the Producer a call. You can discuss the rate with him but expect to be paid a couple hundred bucks for an easy shoot. Here is the contact info: Ben 805-455-4332

One of my A students from last term has asked me to post this, for projects this (Summer) term: We have class film shoots almost every week. We shoot one short film per week and each shoot happens in one day 8-10 hours. It's a class project, but we try to deal it very professionally. Some of our earlier projects in this class have won awards at film festivals. These shoots are in Pasadena, CA We are looking for a boom operator (single person sound crew) who can take care of all the dialog and hand the recorded file to us at the end of the shoot. We expect him to be a professional, and we can pay him $150 - $200 per shoot. We especially would love to work with a per…

Competition reality show for the Food Network, traveling with six camera/sound/producer teams, has added a scenario for Saturday 05/19 in Amarillo TX. They now need an additional sound mixer for Saturday. Production is willing to fly in a mixer from a larger, nearby city, such as Oklahoma City, Dallas, Albuquerque, Denver, etc. Would probably travel Sat AM. Rate is 450/12. Per diem provided. Production supplying all equipment (I have reviewed the sound gear inventory and see Sound Devices 552 mixers, both Lectro and Zaxcom wireless, Sanken lavs, Senn MKH 60 shotguns and K-Tek poles). (Edit: Contact info deleted as this is no longer current.)

Hi Guys, I'm "enjoying" a two month production break from the client who has all but filled my calandar of the past three years. Things are as I guess we know a bit quiet presently, I'm told it's hotting up. but if there's any of you Sydney blokes out there who could use a boom swinger or assitant or indeed need the services of a second soundie for the day give us a yell. Jeeze I even do a week of "the fat show" interviews ........ but not a day more. I know a few of you guys from the forum, and there's a few more I've not had the pleasure of meeting, PM me if you'd like a CV or just a chat. Regards, Jerry Batha Sydney Soundie.

Hello, I'm not sure if anyone browses here looking for available mixers, but what the heck. I just finished a reality series recently, and would love to have something more consistent than piecing together 1-3 day jobs here and there. If you need a mixer in the Philly area, or anywhere that lacks locals, I would love to talk. I do everything from lightweight run+gun doc/reality to bag based recording to cart based narrative/film/movie/whatever. Jobs requiring running in bulletproof vests to sitting at a cart in slip-on Vans and a Hawaiian shirt and everything in between. I enjoy it all! A somewhat updated list of credits, and equipment, is on my personal sit…

I'm directing my first feature in late Dec/early Jan, and still looking for the right person to handle sound. The ideal candidate should be Brooklyn/NYC-based and have his/her own gear. Though we're shooting on a relatively minimal budget, I've set aside a decent amount of money for sound. Send a list of your past projects w/links and an equipment list if you want to be considered for this project: derick@fstopimages.com Thanks, Derick

I've recently come into contact with a group doing a documentary on the Madison Scouts. I marched with Southwind '02 and want to help them, but I'm booked on a 15 week show. This shoot isn't for your average sound guy. Will consist of sleeping and eating with the corps in their everyday environment (high school gyms, etc.) If there's anyone here that would love a couple weeks out of town starting May 15, let me know and I can put you in touch. Not sure of the rate, but it will be low.

Hi to all! Just posting to introduce myself to the group! I'm a boom op living in France also working as a sound mixer for documentary gigs... Would love to meet anyone coming to France for a film shoot and would be even more thrilled to work with any of you experienced sound mixers ;-) Although the gear I use is usually rented for better paid gigs, I use a SD 702T, MixPre-D, Neumann KMR 81 mounted on an Ambient boompole, Sennheiser radio kit with Sanken cos-11 lavalier all rigged in my Petrol PS607 bag when needed. I speak fluent French, English and Spanish and have dual French and Canadian citizenship. Please feel free to give me a call when you…

I am willing to do just about any job out there at this point, Lately I have been trying to mix first, boom second, do audio post third, edit fourth and after that I'll AC, grip, PA, whatever. I'd rather do sound but I am trying to cobble together a living and it ain't easy in Missoula, Montana. In the past six months alone I have done lots of free sound on short films/conferences and gotten paid to cut trailers, produce and direct a short, author DVD's, really whatever I can do that people need done. I can travel anywhere on short notice and have an RV I can live in if necessary. I have a 442, a DR-680, a Lectro 411/SMa, a Schoeps CMC641, a Sennheiser 416,…

So I'm heading to Temecula in the first week of May 2012 for an annual conference that I regularly attend. I thought it worthwhile to toss my name in the proverbial hat for anyone looking for a utility, green boom op, or sound reinforcement hand. Shoot me a note if you are interested.....
