  1. Beautiful cart! I am curious about what you´re doing when it rains? How do yo protect your gear?
  2. It is a pity, that Wisycom has not the fame as the ohter brands. I am using them now for 4 years. First the MCR 52 with the old transmitters and now the MCR54 with the new ones. During this time I maybe had a handful of drop outs. IN the beginning I scanned everytime I came to a new place. Since I have the MCR54 I often totally forgot to scan, because they are working rock solid. For bag work I use the Lectro dipols and on the cart the Wisycom sharks. On both antennas the range ist crazy. No problems through thick walls, cars and other stuff. Sometimes I even cant see the actors but still receiving them. Battery Life is long. I change them normaly just after lunch. I found the right gain and I only have to turn it down when it gets really lound. This is my nearly set and forget wireless system. Peace.
  3. Dont forget to adjust the filters in the superslot menu
  4. Old tread with a new question. Do someone know if the Schoeps BLM 03 boundary mic can be used with the CMR?
  5. I am looking for coloured fader caps for the CL-16. P&G ist offering some, but I need more colours. Any idea where I can get these?
  6. No recording. I would only recommend it If mounted at one spot. Ita not very sturdy, but for me it works fine.
  7. I Like my Fotga. Good price and you can zoom in. The housing ist made of plastic. I mounted it in my cart so there ist no issue with that.

    headphones!

Autocorrection can be a lot of fun!
  9. The SYS Roll is brandnew so I didn´t had the time to test it. Next week the new job starts and I am eger to try it out. I will share my experience. But at first glancethe system seems good. The profile is small and the 4 wheels let it easiley turn around. The handle is in a good height an you can open the boxes because the let space between the handle and the systainers. When I ordered the SYS Roll I tought it is made of aluminium, but it is made of plastic. The specs says that I can handle up to 100kg. I hope it will work. But if it is designed for construction work, i I think it will. And also it is made of really sturdy plastic and made in germany. A little bit heavy it is. Detaching the boxes is a dream. Turn the green switch and ready. The wheels are also made of full platic. But iut should not to be to hard to replace them with rubber ones. To carry the boom and the umbrella I have already modified it.
  10. This setup is for cartwork. Everything needed is in this case. Grap the handle and go for the talent wherever she is.
  11. The result ist improtant. Not how you get to it. For me it doesnt matter I someone uses his/hers feet or even his/hers tail ( If mother or father were a monkey). Try to develop your style and anticipate tricks from the others.

    headphones!

Try the Beyerdynamic Custom Studio. Nice price tag. Unspectacular dry but precise sound but works really great. Also die listening to music. I recommend to switch the earpads from velours to leather dir better Isolation. You can get the earpads in eBay or AliExpress. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mO8jlbz
  13. Thanks for your explanations. It a good Idea to do a click track to the coresponding BPM. I will try it.
  14. Is there any difference when using a special low hz speaker instead of filtering the music track in a daw a play it over a "normal" speaker? Shouldn´t it be theoretical the same?
  15. We are going to shoot a party scene with dialogue. Party scenes with no music always look akward, because everybody is moving to their own rhythm. I have heard of playing back music with a low hicut, so they can get rid of the bass rhythm in the post. Did someone has experience with this kind of method? Where would you set the hicut? I would think about 50hz, far away from the voices frequencies. But I there anything to be aware of?
  16. I just tried to watch David Finchers - Mank. I immediateley noticed the artificial stereo reverbaration on the dialogue. But for my taste it´s way to much. In the first scene indoors the reverb doesn´t match to the size of the room neither to the materials inside. The next scene with a different room, the same. Way to large on the reverbaration side than the existing room. It bothered me so much, that I had to stop the movie. My brain suffered to match what I see and what I hear. I noticed this circumstance in other movies too. Does anybody of you had the same thoughts?
  17. Try the AKG C480. I use two of them and they sound great.
  18. The lavs sound roomy too, but with a fundamaent, which I dial to the boom, for some body I wider shot. I thouht about the differenve of a Super CMit and postmoval. Your terms of 3d and 2d are really good and I was thinking in a similar direction. I never used a Super Cmit. It is a digital 2 Channel mic, right? Booming on a analog 1 channel transmitter is so not possible. Right?
  19. For a Rollmops there is not enough space. Does the SuperCmit Computer the reverb away? A Shotgun normaly doesnt help in such a situation. Maybe I will be a post thing to get thus right.... but I dont like this though
  20. Hi together. We are shooting in a location with lot of reverberation because of the high ceilings. I am using a hypercardiod mic AKG C480 which I always use inside. The boom sounds difficult even when 50cm away. All actors are laved and I dial in some amount to the boom. I have told the production about the problem and suggested to hang molton on the ceilings. They have no time either the personal to do it. Also I cant use blankets because of the limited space. Does somebody have some suggestion?
