  1. Chris, Attached is a link to the Bogen MBS1000A Desktop Mic. IT's a cardioid mic with a PTT button that also has a little lock lever for long announcemensts. It also has the added feature of a PIck-Up to talk, this allows for the unit to be switched on or off when you pick it up off the table. I've used these guys for years on reality shows for micro ear cueing and VOG applications, the switch is silent so no pops in ears or speakers. Street price on this thing is about 100 to 150 bucks US. http://www.bogen.com/products/microphones/
  2. Hello all, I am a longtime lurker here and found this information on another sound bard that I thought would be interesting. Tomorrow Verizon is expected to announce their plans for the rollout of their LTE 4G network. For those of you waiting for the onset of 700MHz spectrum use by the new "owners", this is it. More here. 3. Robert, Hello there. I have a commercial FM Radio Transmitter from BSW if I am not mistaken. It's been sitting in storage for a couple of years, unfortunately I don't remember all the specs off the top of my head right now but I do remember that it transmits in standard FM radio band Freqs of 88.1- 107.9. I don't remember if the transmit power is 1 watt or 5 watts, but the one time I toyed around with it I had about a 1 mile coverage at a race track in Arizona. I'd be happy to let you borrow the guy to see if it will work out for you, unfortunately I in New York until thursday night and don't have access to the gear until Friday. Let me know if I can help. Oscar
