  5. Cost for a case at Comtek Is $55.00 including parts, labor and all new knobs a bargain IMHO. I usually wait till one completely breaks and then pick another sad looking one to sent it so I have been doing 2 at a time. The new Grey case is stronger then the light one.

Was looking for an easy way to hang some light things up in the Van bought a few of these magnets on Amazon $5.80 each plus $3.22 shipping for my whole order I bought 3 to start with My rain gear bag didn't move at all during my 400 mile trip last week.   9. This is the #1 problem we have and especially on lower budget projects with only a 2 person sound team while camera is fully staffed.

  11. Have you tried spraying the wheel bearings with lubricant? Mine R-12 which is 5 years old makes some noise but alittle spray seems to help

  13. Yes I am alittle concerned about the build quality of the units On/Off switch l would prefer a metal recessed toggle switch . Rest of unit feels well built though I only bought one for now and I am going to abuse it for awhile They do carry a 2 year warranty though I am planning on keeping my 3 Denecke boxes as well. This is another great tool for the kit though

Has held up for 3 years with zero issues
  19. The thing I like about the Hawkwoods model or the forth coming LMC version is you don't need to carry a 4 pin XLR power supply, 4 pin cable and dummy np1. It is light and effective works great.
