$5950 is the going rate for the 833 these days. Has shot up dramatically since 2020.

What others are you referring to?
None just Wisycom

You are correct however the SL2 has AES inputs on the back of it

With more 4 Channel Wireless Receivers coming to the market this upgrade makes a 833 with a SL2 even more powerful 1 4 CH RX in each slot for 8 Channels of wireless plus ability to AES in or Analog in 4 more channels makes the machine a even better value

I prefer to use Vinyl exam gloves then just tie a knob in bottom then I put antenna up the index finger. Gloves are cheaper and also reuse-able as well

Tenergy 9V 600mAh Li-ion Rechargeable are $18.00 for 4 and will run a comtek for over 50 hours

If your using a internal or external cabled boom pole I would try to mount whatever wireless directly on top of pole next to micorphone

As mentioned above email them for help they are very responsive contact@cinela.fr

Only thing huge about this is price the run time and AAA choice make it a non starter for me to even consider

I work with two people that have FX9 and was able to change it to both channels with no issue

I have a Mix pre 6 II with NA on it and an 833 with NA on it. It works very well for productions that are going to do zero audio post. I use it regularly for news live shots and corporate interview style productions. Even in a decent sounding room using it a -2 helps dry the room and make the audio more present. In noisy news live shot situations I have dialed it up to -8 as well. It is worth the money

This is exactly the point. The needles are so small and sharp now. Why do we have such anxiety about a tiny pin prick? I guess it's built into us. I get the flu shot every year and it's nothing. It's so nothing, shot anxiety should just not be an issue. I know, I know, that's easy to say, but really, it's nothing these days.
I hate shots but it does seem like in the last few years the needles have gotten sharper and smaller I haven't felt my flu shot last few years at all

Converting away from NP-1s -- I was wondering if anybody makes a Dummy NP-1 that i could use in my 688-SL-6 and use a
ext dc in the Np-1 input.. I have seen some short dummy NPs but not full size..

Call Audio Dept in Burbank I think Gene Martin has a solution for this. Or you could take a Np1 battery gut the inside of it then install a connector on back of battery to power it

Thanks Larry! I’ll try to post a photo of what I end up with.
Jerry at Lectro repair can do it as well

This is an issue with power system and unbalanced inputs won't blame the 833 too much. I would suggest trying another power system to see if problem persists.

I use cosi for 95% of wind condition. Ans sometimes I will just throw an extra piece of fur i made for it on top.
I have used my COSI at the beach and in many windy conditions it has yet to fail me

I would consider a COSI for your MINI CMIT. I have one for mine and it is great for all situations along with very durable
