  1. I use a SD 442 and SD 744T. I use the direct outs to record the 4 channels to the 744 and send a stereo mix to camera. Is there a way that anyone knows of switching the faders round on the 442? I normally like to mix the track levels to the 744 rather than to camera, as most times the camera tracks are for guide and my 744 files will be used in the mix. The problem is the 442 small faders feed the 744 and the large ones the mix to camera. It would be great to be able to switch these round as it would make mixing easier. Is there a way to do this? I've tried to search around for an answer but none so far.
  2. Excellent thanks. I had seen them on Google and will now get in touch to ask for a quote! It's good to know who other people are using. Any other suggestions welcome for comparison.
  3. Hi, I'm new to JWS but thought i'd start off a topic about insuring kit in the UK as there isn't one yet. I have a small run and gun set up with 744T, 442, 416 and 8050. I'm looking to get wireless mics so want to find an insurer that will cover all this kit better than my current one Music Guard. Who do you UK guys use for your kit insurance? I've googled a few but wanted to see if you have some good recommendations, or some avoid this company advise. Thanks Simon
  4. Thought I'd add one here of me recording a wild track of a herd of 22 ducklings! They follow it round and all run after it. Very funny to watch.
