  1. Thanks to those who gave me advice on this one. I'm and you are learning everyday.
  2. I just did a shoot where talents needed discreet earpieces and induction neckloops proved to be very difficult to hide on female talents wearing dresses. What workaround would you guys suggest for something like that? A colleague mentionned bluetooth earpieces? Thanks in advance. Dominique
  3. Anybody would like to sell me one of these? Dominiquegreffard@gmail.com
  4. That s why having the all the media at only one place is scary. Thanks for sharing
  5. Thanks to you all for your comments. I guess it s lightweight stands shoping time now.
  6. Yeah i guess carrying a second boomboy with an extra boom is the way to go. It s just that extra gear again to bring. If i could just rig a second mic to the same boom wouldn t that work? I mostly use a mkh50 for interior work. It's a pretty light mic. I'm sure the boom boy could carry that extra weight. Thanks dfisk for the suggestion but it doesn t look like the stereo bar can be changed axis from the pole. It would be a bit difficult to operate I see camera monitors have these tiny aluminum magic arms wouldn t that work? The ideal plan would be to always carry one of these and rig it with a 2nd mic once in a while when needed.
  7. So what do you guys carry when it is time to rig a second mic to a boom. For let's say two people sitting face to face or next to each other in a sitdown interview? A mini magic arm that you could extend a bit with two small maffer clams would be pretty ideal.
  8. Thanks guys. I ll get in touch with these guys. I still haven t made my mind wich way i wanna go for my smallest rig. I give myself a day or two to take the plunge. Option1: just the boompole mixer to zfr100 and no bag at all. I'm even considering rigging a small receiver ((g3 or srb)) straight to the pole directly to the 2nd channel of the zfr100 maybe even through a emergency rx. Option 2: Classic small bag: Cabled boom to mix-pre, srb to mix pre. Mix pre to zfr100. (Inspired by the small bag thread)

  10. Thanks everybody for your valuable inputs. Note that supported framerates on bmcc are 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p and 30p. Cheers!
  11. I found the cable off the shelf at the music store and it has the right connectors so no custom work here. I do not plan to send tc to a audio channel to the camera so it will audio on both channels. I guess it will be a earguess on this one. Record double system on my nomad of course yes. Edit: after a phone call to local wiz gilles belanger all should be fine cablewise. He advised to go line level to camera to minimize potential noise issues. I m gonna blast the erx at +23 and take it from there. I'll let you know wich setting seems to sound the best. All this guesstimating..
  12. I'm filming tomorrow with a BMCC. I plan on sending scratch track to it. I remember reading somewhere on the forum about settings from zaxcom erx to camera. I tried to search with no good results.. If i recall corectly there is still no meters on incoming audio so it s a bit of a gamble to setup. Anybody with experience with this would like to share his/her settings. I got this cabling a my local music store for 10$. At least that s cheaper than the usual 100$ tc+audio custom erx cables... Thanks Dominique
  13. Very impressive, again! 3 questions: How was the process of changing the wheels? Where did you have the drawers done? Does the soundbag fit in the last drawer? Beautifull work pascal
  14. I am a very happy customer of the new longer boom bag by k tek. It fits a lot in there. 124$ well spent.
  15. Good luck in your new projects!
  16. What is the overall weight of the pelican?
  17. Could i evaluate myself where are now my lp7's in their lifespam by a test (other than let's say a duration test..)? If the cells are too old can a battery get "re-celled" by idx if there is such a thing? I could just email you but i'm sure others would like to know too.
  18. Congrats to ron and pascal. I really like the form factor and the low price. I'm not really sure how is a quick transition from a bag rig 664 to a cart rig is gonna be made with those connectors? Have a db25 connector between the wireless and the 664 in the bag and have the mixer connected in between when in cart mode?
  19. I'd be very surprised by that. But yes it would sell bunch probably. There is a product out already for that on the dark side of the force.
  20. Note that if switched to slowmotion and then back to regular speed, it will drastically loose timecode by seconds if not minutes. As others mentionned syncbox or cabled tc feed is essential for frame accuracy.
  21. I d just explained the exact situation to the Pm right away. The fault is not on you and maybe it was not the best idea to have PA deal with the camera. Post is gonna fix this easy. I would nt worry about this too much.
