  1. A question about mixpre: Is this a problem only on my device? Is that how it works? My mixpre-6 feels very slow at knobe speed response. It sound like logarithmic faders rather than linear faders. Always my mix dialogue sounds like I missed a word or half a word.
  2. I noticed a bug, when you solo on a channel and then push to record, you get a dim on headphones. . And something to improve (if possible) The speed response of the faders is very slow to mix dialogue.
  3. I have 2 of them that broke in the same place I'll try to connect them and shrink tubing. thanks Rick
  4. Does anyone have experience with mke1 capsule?
  5. Maybe that's your problem. https://forum.zaxcom.com/forum/forums/nomad/35850-headphone-phase-reverse There is a solution through the menu, I don't remember exactly where it is. Don't listen to the recording through Nomad, try to listen via a DAW and you'll also see visually if the audio in reverse phase as Martin said.
  6. http://www.swit.us/s8u93-sony-bpu-series-dv-camcorder-batt893.html I use them for all my system, they better than NP-1 for me.

Combo jack is great, but give us the option to switch between mic and line through the menu. We don't want to carry extra cables. If you take it as a backup, you want to change only the mixer/recorder. You don't want to replace cables too. I can see it helping unprofessionals people, but for us it's can be very annoying.
  8. "still to come" Off topic, try to focus on Orca.
  9. No Dante. X AIR XR18, I like this toy.
  10. I found a new use for my OR41 after I sold half of my gear.
  11. The best way I know is to take a stick and rub it (at the edge) with epoxy glue, attach the battery, wait until it is stiff, and pull it out.
  12. You can cut the zips and put a Cable tie. yes.
  13. I saw that SHURE sell the SDMixPre under their name "FP24". Maybe SHURE take the 302 and sold it with the recorder under their name as "FP332".
  14. dfisk, In my opinion there are a lot disadvantages in Stingray, but no one will write them here because it's "ORCA Bags Review". I really think that we don't buy anything until we check all of the options that companies offer. And if we choose to use the Orca it's probably after we saw all the bags on the market including the Stingray, and I think you have to respect our decision. The "PR" you're doing is deterrent, if you believe in Stingray you should be calm and not show stress like no one buys it (and I believe it's sold). It is important to note that I don't represent or speak on behalf ORCA Bags. I'm just trying to help me and you get the best bag that will answer our needs.
  15. This will probably be the last prototype and I'd love to hear Practical suggestions/changes you think should be changed, and I will try suggest them to Ofer. I know there are people who make changes in the bag, and you have to remember there are lots of users with lots of types of equipment. Example- 1. I really liked the ring to zaxnet antenna that Rado did, but the antenna is not protected in the bag and can get hit and break. Some people will use in 788 or 552, etc., and they will say what I need this ring in the bag? 2. In an early model of OR-41, a lot of people have offered to reduce the spacing below zaxnet antenna which means that people will have to buy angle sma connector. usb space: *Should think that there are people being recorded straight to disk on key, and there are lots of sizes. *"zaxcom Donegal" - at the moment it will only be to qrx, but I believe that in the future it will also work in Nomad (??size??). Not everyone wants to use the angled connector (usb, sma).
  16. I have no idea, I'll ask Ofer When the prototype arrived.
  17. So you will have more room for another 3 rx, or whatever. Some people like the bag tight, and others prefer space, people use different types of equipment, and so on. orca do audio bag with rf protected partitions between recorder and rx/tx (important feature in my opinion), and I see people take them out to make room for more rx's. On the other hand they don't want a bigger bag.
  18. Good news! After several tests and recommendations, Ofer decided to reduce the dimensions of the OR-41 to Nomad + PF8 + RX3. Prototype will come soon, and I will write reviews and take pictures.
  19. I think it's going to be a Bluetooth dongle.
  20. It's still a prototype (I think). There is no reason that zaxnet antenna or sma connector will break or damage. Securing the Nomad in the orca bag keeps it tight, so there is no chance that the antenna move and damage.
  21. Lower, shorter, lighter ... The OR-41: New bag with the changes we asked for. The bag fits Nomad + zaxnet antenna, there is room for FP8 + 6 Tx / Rx (or 9 Tx / Rx without PF8) or anything you want. The bag is built perfectly, I have access to the gear very quickly and efficiently. Is lighter in 0.53Kg from the OR-32. The aluminium frame does a great job, it keeps the shape of the Bag stable and unchanging because of the weight and position. The bag fits a lot of types of mixers / recorders. No doubt, this is the best Bag for me. (Kg)
