A few things I was told by Maximillian The Setup Software&App (to adjust frame rate, TOD, and level output) isn't ready yet, they hope to have it ready for next Monday The auto frame rate detection isn't implemented yet, possibly in a future firmware update (so you need to use the soft/app to change it) Mine came with 25FPS and line out as default setting (as I'm in Europe) you should check with them at what "presetted" FPS they've sent yours. They also added one new feature : "?One new feature is the automatic audio level : if you input a signal with phantom power or PlugIn power (3V) like the 5D has, Tentacle will switch automatically to mic level. If you unplug it level is line again." EDIT : Uli has just sent a link by email with the windows version of the setup app !

Ok I see, it just makes removing the sled and replacing it with a new one with fresh batteries a bit slower when you are in the heat of the battle :-)

Sorry for the small off topic, but what kind of rechargeables are you guys using with a TS-C slate ? With Eneloops, amazon, duracells, I have a hardtime inserting the battery sled in the compartment and it's impossible to get it out without using a tool.

I Imagine that even if we have the AES mod done, we will still have the option to use 6 mic preamps with neverclip, Or will there be different firmwares?

Hi Fabian I have experienced the same issues with the same teradek system and same workflow. Works fine until suddenly sound starts to become garbled, and picture is clean. I came to the conclusion that it must be a firmware problem on these units. The only solution I found was to power cycle the Teradek units, after that everything started to work fine again. James, I think that with the Touch interface they've tried to satisfy all of these requests, So I possibly fear that we won't see these on the actual Nomad screen, and as you say having a touchpad on a bag while running & gunning doesn't look very practical. While the Nomad Touch app interface seems reasonably priced for all the extra features it offers, I think the Bluetooth dongle for Zaxmote operation is way overpriced

Are there any Zaxnet controls on the Nomad Touch app ?

This serial hub, should have been already designed and shown in NAB, quite a must with all the things you can connect now to a Nomad

About Nomad Touch, I can't think this will be a touch sensitive screen a la Deva/Fusion replacement for the Nomad, as the screen size of the Nomad is too small for touch operation (unless they came up with a completly different GUI and still... ) So will it be some kind of interface, a Zaxpad? An enhanced Zaxmote app ?

Since here in Europe we won't be able to use the TVDB addon, could you please add the option of EU TV channels, so we can set them manually ? Thanks & Keep the good work !
