  1. 1. 1 end male the other end female neitrcon 8 pin. 3. Sounds about right. Give or take a few feet.
  2. It depends entirely on what you want and the microphone / microphones you want to use. +1 for Cinela.
  3. With cinela apparently the new osix uses the same suspension so just unscrew and attach to indoor mount. Thats my understanding. Still waiting to see the new osix piece with xlr.
  4. Don't really see how you can. With a 788 you can record to 3 separate media. Can't exactly monitor them all the time. Was there an error message on the 788? Anything go offline?
  5. A zephyx won't work for him as the soundfield mic has to be a shorter version right from the factory barrel of the microphone is shorter. So pianissimo might be his best bet if he were to go with cinela.
  6. Personally I always thought the 30 should be at the bottom cuz its slightly longer perhaps it's just me I have a Cinela pianissimo as well and I'm waiting on a 30 / 8040 mount
  7. So do you have the 30 on top? Looks like it in the photo.
  8. Hey Jeff. Has anyone ever been banned from this board? Seems like they would really have to piss you off to get banned.
  9. With the 30 on the bottom and a 40/50 on top there is a lot of room. No foamies of course.
  10. Probably one specifically designed for the weight of an mkh 30/50 combo.
  11. One does not sell their cinela it's just to good to let go.
  12. Or anyone that has old ones to sell.
  13. The M152 are a great backup mic. And they were free with the lectro kits. Not sure if they still give them with wireless these days or not
  14. Weight issue. Can they make plastic the same weight so it goes down nice and quick. Have one as well and love it.
  15. Is it just a particular color that is stiffer than another?
  16. The more desperate you are the more they'll charge for it
  17. At one point IDX was giving them away with the batteries
