Rachel Cameron

I grew up around the south Florida waters of Miami, Key West, Cocoa, Marathon, Longboat Key, and Anna Maria. I've been sunburned more times than I want to recall. I also grew up around my father's Roberts reel to reel deck..we used to record these folk festivals ~ stories and songs. Later on, my older brother showed me how to make a vinyl to cassette dub on his Pioneer CT-F900 (the one with VU meters, not LED). From then on, I've been into recording stuff. Meters in general have always fascinated me. I guess like measuring stuff, I love proper sound acquisition...and I love adventure. So I think I've found my favorite job of all gathering sound on run and gun jobs, little doc adventures for cable and booming the occasional film. They're usually fun, very interesting and I meet great people. Then I get to invoice them. I just wish I could do it more.
