  1. If I had a nickel for every time that a producer asked me to do something silly and dangerous, I would be retired. Do not compromise! Robert
  2. One useful tool that I have been using is a Coleman camping stool. Four legs, folds up and super lightweight. I drilled the legs and added some small wheels. You can pick up in a second, throw over your shoulder and run up stairs if need be. Robert
  3. It has been a few years since my last visit but I do remember that we were required to contact the National Press Secretary before shooting (a 28 year old bilingual whiz kid). No carnet from USA Robert
  4. I would never ditch my 816. Like a good used car, it is just worth more to me than anyone else. Can save your day AND you get a nice shoulder workout. Robert
  5. I guess that that is payback for all the times that we have booked "half days" (3 in one day and home for dinner once!).
  6. I carry a gallon ziplock bag full of hand warmers and foot warmers (larger) for dealing with cold weather. Available inexpensively at WalMarts etc. excellent to helping taking off the cold edge for humans as well as equipment. Batteries are definitely a cold weather issue!
