  1. Great stuff guys. So it doesnt matter that i am -11 on one of my channels which is what had me freaked out in the first place. Thanks for the support. Kindest Regards
  2. Thanks. Regarding how i am setting up the Venue to the Fusion. I am correct to do it that way i take it. Regards
  3. Hi all. I know this has been covered in the past but I am still a little confused about the output from my Lectrosonics venue rack. What I am unsure about is that when I send tone from my Venue to my Zaxcom fusion 10 I am having to attenuate the output to my recorder, which is different on every input. for example: I use output 1 of the venue into input 3 on my fusion, with my trims at unity I have to attenuate the output of the venue to -11 in order to read -20db on the fusion. output 2 to input 4 = -3 output 3 to input 5 = -5 output 4 to input 6 = -3 My inputs are all set to line level. As far as I know the Venue tone is equivalent to the output being at +8(is that correct?). Apologies if i am being completely thick but am I going about this the correct way. or should i just leave the venue on +8 for all outputs.(As someone advised me i should) As you can see i am a little confused. Also if I am doing this correctly what the hecks going on with input 3?. Is this a normal trait in zaxcom gear. Thanks in advance for your patience.
  4. The "bubbling" noise is pretty much constant so i will try the capaitor route if someone can explain where i put it/them. Thanks for the replies Regards Jonathan
  5. Hi all. I have seen in the manual for Lectrosonics SMDB that some mics can pick up RF from the TX being close to the mic. I am currently using the TXs on my booms utilising the Ambient UMPii power supplys. I can hear what can only be described as a strange "bubbling" noise during low level dialogue and inbetween speeches, although post production have not said anything as yet it is enough that i know it is there and need to find a cure. I am wondering if it is RF i am hearing through the mic so i have decided to try the capacitor tick as seen in the manual. Problem is i cant really understand the diagram. Can anyone tell me in lamens terms which legs to which pins, is it one or two capacitors. P.S the mics i am using are Schoeps CCM41s Hope this makes sense Regards to all Jonathan Seale AMPS/MIPS
