  1. thanks! Good to know.
  2. They sell those dots. But I doubt very much they will sell the straps too. They've got their own brand ...
  3. Where did you buy them?
  4. https://www.cedar-audio.com/news/richter21mar17.shtml Cedar Germany asked me bout my recent findings ...
  5. got a Mix8 and have found a way to pimp my small standby / bag-cart
  6. benefits of the DNS2: cleaner Mix-track for use in editorial, dailies, screenings for producers, test-screenings etc. - all happens several month before audio-postpro touches the unprocessed audio from the isos cleaner Comtek-feed for director and last but not least: cleaner mix to MY ears. It´s a relief believe me. Have been shooting with 2 Alexa65 for 90 days now I know my ears and nerves would have suffered way too much without the help of the Cedar. These cameras are pretty noisy since the second fan for the DSP is not going low in rec-mode. Without the DNS2 I only could have hoped / imagined that post-production will denoise my audio and safe the performance. By using the DNS on set I know ON the day, that my audio will be usable. Post might / will go again and use the isos to start with but this is several month ahead. Got a call in the beginning from the editor complaining about the noise floor. He was NOT using the mix-track but tried to build his own mix from scratch. I told him to do himself (and me) a favour and to use my mix. Haven´t heard from him since (well that might be for other reasons - hope not).
  7. Look at my pic: a very nice comfy Directors chair. But the hight of the cart allows for sitting AND standing and everything inbetween.
  8. Thanks Constantin. I've got a curved thumb just from googling after linear motors Project for the next downtime I guess. Normally winter that is but not this year. Day 87 today ...
  9. I did look. When in down position - do you interlock both cases or will those lifters hold tight enough for wheelin around on the big wheels only (tilted)? I'm also worried that my upper case is just too heavy for your construction. It was sitting on an add case which felt secure but up in the air supported by 2 or 3 lifters only? Don't know ...
  10. It's an old thread but very up to date to me: I've been sitting on my cart for the last 12 years. My recent shoot had 5 weeks of studio instead of on location and I used this to try a higher version of my cart together with a high Director's chair. I really loved it!! It feels more agile, more powerful and focused. It just won't work for my typical German on location production. Cart wouldn't fit the van as is, rolling around is not easy because it's so top heavy. Still looking for the all in version.
  11. Just don't mention the ... Simon!
  12. Now you are?! How embarrassing to me!
  13. I believe giraffe was using sarcasm here ...
  14. and listen to John +++1
  15. seems to work. Display is changing now. Stays at R9 rather long. After going down to R7 it went down within 30min.
