  2. Cos 11 Sticky cable- not from tape...

took out my 2 rarely used Cos11 and both got this shiny oily cable too. Where does this come from??
  3. new plugOn TRX from Zaxcom

    using original Fuji NP50
  4. new plugOn TRX from Zaxcom

btw runtime with a Schoeps CMIT5U / 50mW: 3hours sharp. So you wanna change after 2.5hours to be safe. Miles away from 5 hours ...
  5. new plugOn TRX from Zaxcom

my ZMT3 48V lets me adust the phantom power to 45V (five) max not 48V. Is that a typo within the ZMT or ...? from the manual: This menu is where the phantom power is turned on and adjusted from. The ZMT3 Phantom has 5 user selectable power options:  OFF, 12V Phantom, 24V Phantom, 36V Phantom or 48V Phantom
  6. Schoeps CMR vs. Colette cable

just check that your wireless TX is on their list of compatible systems: CMR-compatibility-charts.pdf
  7. Cedar DNS 2 Portable NR unit

I still deliver a split track (listen to both in mono as it were a mono-track). The Cedar's 2 inputs will get those feeds from the mixer and get recorded as Mix Boom and Mix RMs. Yes there is no Cedar-ISO Boom. But in my experience Sound Postpro will go for the untouched Isos anyway. Its all for the Comteks, editorial and MY ears.
  8. Samplitude's "O-Ton-Modus"

if it's more than just 2-3 cues I'll have the 3rd AD doing it on my laptop or iPhone
  9. Samplitude's "O-Ton-Modus"

    Unfortunately no news ...
  10. Ceiling mic

Not sure if it is a ceiling?? mic. But with the OB van company I'm working for sometimes we use the Neumann mic they use in the Bundestag for the speeches. KEM 970. That would give you covering either a wide horizontal beam with a narrow pattern or the other way around depends how you mount it. We would use 2-3 of those to cover a opera stage. But you would need a rental company that got them. Don't no if there is any.
  11. NeverClip - real life experience with transmitters

with Zaxnet in your TX you need to engage the compressor in the dynamic menu. If you do so and go for a high ratio just at the very end (-6dB 20:1) it will take care of your barking just fine. At least that's how my ones are set up.
  12. Zaxcom Nomad notch filter

I've got a Velcro sticker on my cart that will get on display if a notch is in use. Same for tale slate. Blocks me from hitting the stop button too quickly.
  13. that gear rate should be our new German standard
  14. Cart building day!!!

looks good. and yes big wheels are a must for beach locations. btw using the same LiFeYPo4 batteries myself
  15. how much delay between sound and video before it gets distracting

Yep. Just me basically. But thought maybe I can offer (make money) to supply a feed on iOS devices for crew members too.
