  1. Amazing follow cart, excellent work. Michael - what are these boom clamps??
  2. "Half-jacking" is a dangerous game. I'd suggest 8 standard insert cables. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IPBQ2Q10
  3. I never heard of HRPC, I'll check it out!
  4. I'm looking at getting a Zarges K470 as utility case. It seems to fit the bill in terms of dimensions (25.6 x 18.9 x 18.9) and has practical foam dividers, I'd like to have a spot for each boom mic in the blimp in an upright position, spare dinkum arms, tools and so on. That being said I don't have a Zarges dealer anywhere close by and can't check it out before buying. Any other options besides Pelican and Nanuk that should be considered?
  5. Genial. Lot's of great solutions, thank guys - I appreciate all the input! The Lowepro Slider 20 seems perfect for the job...trying to find it in Canada now... It has a magnetic latch, correct? Are you worried about that at all? I usually try to stay away from magnets...
  6. That's it - if it's not convenient it won't get used. The comtek P-1's are great but hard to source and expensive at $35CAD each (I need 12...)
  7. I'm using EK300G3's as IFB/Comtek alternative and I'm looking for a pouch to use as protection. I've tried a bunch of small camera bags but they all lack a proper belt clip and they are slightly on the bulky side. In the previous threads on this topic someone mentioned small carabiners on the camera pouches...but a belt clip (like the Comtek P-1's have) would still be better I think. Has anyone found the holy grail of G3 pouches???
  8. A gooseneck talkback mic is on my list of future upgrades. Is it a noticeable-enough improvement?
  9. I wonder if it has been used as a cart mixer...I wonder how it would hold up in humidity and massive temperature changes...
  10. Excellent solution. Did you make a number of the same design - or do you have to switch up the look for different characters?
  11. How heavy is the whole rig? I use a Pelican 1630 wich can house everything and works as a stand for my bag...but it gets heavy...
  12. Excellent work. I love the dorrough meters with the sonosax...
