Hi guys, I love my 4071, but I didn't have luck to saved them for a longer period. So I am thinking to go now for a new Heavy Duty version. Anybody had a chance to try them , is it too difficult for hiding ? Love the idea that they can last for a long time. Also , I would like to go for a slim version 4061. Thank's Noni
  2. Hey John Paul, I will travel from Belgrade, Serbia to Paris,France, and from there to Marrakech,Morocco. First is Serbian domestic airlines, and from Paris I am not sure yet. I guess that a lot of those U.S. rules apply also for E.U. I will have some kind of confirmation from Air Serbia , but I was just curious to know others experience. Thanks Noni
  3. Hello, My apologize if this topic has been already on JWsound. I am planing to have with me two packs of four Li-polymer 9V 520mAh in to the plane, placed in my hand baggage. Also I will carry one Cantar X2 Li Ion 14,8V /62Wh, and one Lithium Ion XL-B2 7,4V / 4400mAh. Is this to much of Lithium batteries in one place, how to pack them, ... ? Any suggestion , previous experience, any thoughts. Thank you in advance Novica Jankov
  4. Hi Bendy, I been in Armenia in 2009. actually all over the country filming movie called "Here" directed by Braden King. I was using Micron Explorer in 798-830 , with receiver placed in PQH with 7 elemnts Yagi antennas, I had no problem at all. I was getting very good range in busy Yerevan, or any where in the country. I am not sure if something changed there, but I think you wil be good in any block you choose. Great country, lovely people ! I am sure you will enjoy it. Novica Jankov www.novicajankov.com
  5. Hi Dan, Definitely that is the case ! After I saw your post, I remeber it from Rycote web page. Some time ago I moved cmit to the very end of the windshield to be as close as possible to the actor for quite scene. I need to confess that handling noise started on that movie, and I didn't understand what was the case. Some time after I switch to sennheiser and that halp. Now after I change position of the mic as it should be in the first place, it's much better. Probably as it was in the begining. Hope that this will halp to you Matthias if you have the same situation. Thanks again Dan ! Noni
  6. Hi Matthias, I am having the same problems with my cmit 5u and WS4, once I put windshield with hi wind sock or windjammer, low freq. are pretty loud. I switch to sennheiser pistol grip and windshield and it is little better. Mostly I am using with cable, or wireless combination MM 1 with smqw. Starting to thinking that only silent solution is cinela. Also if my boom op wear gloves it helps the situation, but not to much. There is still low freq. Also I cut low end on the cmit and 60hz/12db on my cantar. Love the mic very much, hate the sound of handling noise. Need to change something ! Best regards ! Novica Jankov
  7. Hi , I have broken cables of three COS 11 very close to the mic head. Any body had same experience with repairing it ? Any suggestion... Thanks Noni
  8. Hi , Would it be possible to use Cantar X2 digital out 8 ch, trough converter AJA H10AM, and going out with SDI 8 ch to SD PIX 240 ? If this would be working, editor can have 8 track of production sound already sync ? Any experience ... Thank you guys Noni
  9. Hello Bartosz, I have 6 units of 100 series with PQH with 2 yagi 7 elements antenna, and after 4-5 years they work great. Last two years I been using Lectro, and I love it. But from time to time if I need more then 6 smv/smqv I will plug Micron and it would work very good. If you are limited with money, Micron is very nice wireless out there, but if you have little more I would suggest Lectro. Best regards Noni
  10. Hi Stephen , I am in Serbia , which is very near , I have used Micron explorer ( 798-830 MHz) in Croatia and Lectro 26 block. I think it will be okay if you go with block 21. best regards noni
