Hello, This CMS-50 is a cardio MS right? Anybody knows of a short shotgun mic in MS config "close" to the size of this CMS-50? I was thinking of buying the Minicmit and add my CCM8 but I don't find any small windshield configuration for it. I usually use the CCM41 and CCM8 in a LEO MS on my camera but would love to have something more directional. Thanks for any input. Patrick

The equipment which is on my ATA Carnet will be used what ever existing patents they are. It’s a temporal export so it’s effectively not considered belonging to the visiting country (no VAT). Now another question is if the seller of a second hand equipment is responsible like a distributor?

I didn't understand if the modes can be turned on at the same time? Record With TC From external USB-C and send that signal?

Another recorder with TC for the M2D2. It can use it's USB-C connector to record 48/24bit. The Deity BP-TRX

Yes you can buy outside US and bring it in. Do you know if you can record through the USB-C connector?

Sonosax decided to build the best mini preamp they could do today. Adding a pro recorder would have mean TC, more power, more mechanics, more developping time and more $$$.

Nice setup Jeremtools! Any one knows a small USB-C audio recorder? It basically would need a power on/off and a REC button. Would love to see it from Tentacle.

Lol Sorry 😉 The Zacuto camera rig is in his budget. Better than any cage wich don't have any use IMHO.

DISCLAIMER : IT'S NOT CHEAP!!!! Here is my Run and Gun rig with the Sony A 7 III and the MS-Schoeps CCM41_CCM8 on cinela Osix suspension and Sonosax M2D2 The camera rig is a Zacuto gunner and some home made focus pulling tools... 😉 It's 2,9kg. I can soot the whole day with it as my two hands, elbows, eye, make contact with the camera. The EVF and it's peaking infos are really good (much better than many EVF out there) and you can pull focus easily with it. Sound from the POV of the camera si critical fro me but you can't beat a good boom and some HF. Better have a sound guy with you. The M2D2 gives you the opportunity to have good 48v preamp and use the great MIX feature with compressor/limiter wich is great if you don't want to touch your faders during the take.

In our days it’s difficult to find a market for a two track recorder. People find that 16 tracks is already to small... I wonder what Jacques would say though...

You are welcome. (Ps: It's not a perfect design, I would change it for the next test using both sides with the same bracket mount and make some tolerances smaller, but it does the job IMHO).
