Check out "west mountain radio"
They make som prett inexpensive systems if your willing to do a little soldering and crimping.
you can get a 40 amp system for about 300 bucks plus a battery and some 4 pin connectors.
I used one for about 5 years w never a problem
Jeff,
I am seeing alot of posts with time stamp errors.
For instance, "posted today at 5:25 PM", From LA members.
Since right now it is 11:04 AM in LA I dont think that is right.
Thought you would like to know.

I'm heading to Munich for a week of ENG style work and was wondering if any one has had trouble with radios there. Are they as lax as the FCC in terms of power out put and frequency blocks?
any thoughts?

So I just finished my first day with my fusion. two things of note. Playback from the mirrored DVD was spotty and broke up when I played back 8 tracks. I have been assured that this is due to buffering and that all is well. Second was that I had some trouble getting mirroring going at all (the fusion would lock up and have to be switched off/on) with 48.048k sample rate, Howie suggested changing firewire cables and after the 3rd cable it worked well. just wondering if anyone else has had sample rate dependant issues
