  2. AES50, DANTE, AVB, Cirrus Logic, CobraNet, Digigram, BLU, RockNet. All different standards being used. Yamaha, Shure and Digico using DANTE. Sony, Panasonic, Midas using AES 50, this covers most of the live broadcast industry. Harman group and Avid using AVB. I've used all the standards above. Avid S3L I find frustrating. I'm a Midas user most of the time XL8 or higher Pro series. Use Digico often, SD9, SD7. Used the CL series from Yamaha (plus other digital consoles). I wouldn't use Yamaha in a high-end professional environment. It's like a Vespa compared to a TT bike. Plus they sound terrible!

If not your mostly out of luck, as there is no other area apart from on the neckline. Headworn just sound crap. As for weddings. 99% of the time the bride and groom only say something when stood in front of a prieux-dieu, ths is pefect place to plant a mic. I just put a hyper under the top pointed 45° up. You can also plant one on the opposite side for the vicar, but they tend to move around a lot so a lav is a must. This is a prieux-dieu:
