studiomprd
BTW, there would have been adequate Subway tuna's if more people had RSVP'ed... maybe we'll do better next year ?
LarryF
We were short two. Eighty two potential tuna consumers and we brought 80 cards. Not to worry as cards have been sent to the two that missed out. There were about 60 RSVPs and we brought 80 cards figuring if there were a lot of extras, the Lectro crew could just eat tuna for company lunches. Being short two was way better than having way too many! Best, Larry F Lectro p.s. Thanks and a tip of the hat to Marc W. pindrop
Go'orn leave the poor tuna alone, hundreds of millions of people!
OmahaAudio
Being short two was way better than having way too many! My wife goes to a lot of meetings and conferences and thought that the Subway card was a great idea (i.e. useful). As I tried to explain the humor behind it she had to sit down because of the laughing. Thanks again.
cmgoodin
No pics? Was there a cart race or boom pole pinata? Yeah we shot a lot of 5K footage with our Red Camera. (That's the Best Camera) Unfortunately the 67 Terabytes of Red Raw video files will take 5.6 years to upload to JW Sound.
BudRaymond
Thanks to all the manufacturers for the awesome collection of door prizes. I feel extremely lucky winning the Sound Devices MixPre, arguably one of the best prizes.

Michael Miramontes
So what I really want to know is where the after party is going to be at. After all it is Vegas, right?
Dave Schaaf
I used to see the usual suspects every year at NAB and the sound folks party. After missing the last six, I hope to be there this year. I will RSVP when my plans firm up. Dave from Denver not a new member, just darn few postings
Jeff Wexler
Nice to hear from you, Dave, even if so brief. Missed the last 6? Yikes.

geordi
I'm trying for this year again too... Last year a golf tournament gig got in the way, and I think I would have been better skipping that silliness and going to play in Vegas. Not making that mistake this year, if the scheduling overlaps again!
Alexander Burstein
This will be my first year going. I've registered for exhibiton(s) only and am wondering if this is the usual? I'm sure some of you purchase larger packages but from your experience is it worth it? And if it is worth it could I purchase tickets on the day for specifics that i'm interested in? Tom Visser
I was really hoping that this would be the year I could make the pilgrimage out to Vegas, but alas I'm booked on an HGTV shoot during that time. I'll just have to rely on my on-line associates to live the experiences vicariously through you all.

I'm going to start a new thread, "NAB- what to see and do" so we can keep clearly separate conversations on party planning and show attending. OK? Rob Beal
Just got a bunch of work in Vegas, so I'll be in town this year! My first time attending, will definitely hit up the JWS dinner. Looking forward to it.
mastermixaudiomedia
Wish I was coming out there... and if that restaurant is the same place I went when in Vegas a few years back, I REALLY wish I was going.
berniebeaudry
How booked up do the hotels get around NAB time? I haven't been to NAB for at least 20 years and was with a company then so didn't have to book anything. Really going to try and make it out for this depending on schedule. Michael McQueen
i have tickets booked but a show i'm on is flip flopping on dates. so I'm still up in the air with it. hopefully they can make a decision soon!
dfisk
the main hotels will be pretty booked up by now...if they have rooms they might be kinda spendy. You can probably get a hotel off the strip. I'd recommend Red Rock hotel out on Decatur. It's not close to the strip, but it's a nice place. That's where locals go.
