Boomboom
Senator I need your hat. You'd think it's a pin on the front of this hat but it's not; it's a USB key loaded with all the existing audio devices manuals you can find throughout the world. That's the good part. Now, the bad part is IN the hat, hah! Naaaay, just kitting 'Sen' !

studiomprd
I was there looking at (among other things) the cool, tiny, new Mighty Mic...for use with my Lectro's ( SMa) anxious to get one to try out ASAP..

dominiquegreffard
I like the new lectro watertight tx. It says that it comes with a lavalier mic already.. My questions are: will my other lectro compatible lavs fit with this one? If not what connector is this and how easy/hard will it be to wire mics to it? Thx
Richard Topham Jr
The lav should have a waterproof connector on it. I recommend the Countryman B6, as it is also waterproof. You will need to add a waterproof connector on any lav you have and it will fit the WM. It is a stereo mini with an o-ring seal. At Pro-Sound we can add it to any lav, just give us a call and we will be happy to do it for you!
studiomprd
" Open the USB and also you will find 1 doc file. Open the doc file " It is both Mac and Windows compatible. " will my other lectro compatible lavs fit with this one? If not what connector is this " as the specifications clearly show: no (except MM series)
LarryF
Hi Dominique, It's not too hard to wire the connector since the main part is a mono SwitchCraft micro plug. See this kit: http://www.lectroson...ew-details.html If you only need a few mics wired up, the dealer (as Richard offered) is the way to go. They've done it before and know where to put the sealant. The 3 and 10 piece kits are kind of pricey because of the stainless steel shell. However, the shells are reusable and nearly indestructible and the microplugs (2.5 mm or 0.1") are readily available. The stainless shell holding the microplug, threads into hefty matching threads on the transmitter case and is extremely robust. Since the microplug can not move and does not bear any force, it is very dependable and noise free. Best Regards, Larry Fisher Lectrosonics
ProSound
I have 6 of the older MM400 TX and can attest that the lav plugs are almost indestructible. I look forward to adding the new WM tx to my kit as well. Remember waterproof is also sweat and toilet proof lol
FSBELLA
My 2c. the B6 is actually considered "water resistant". the VT500 omni lav has been IPX-7 certified as a true"waterproof" lavalier. not to disrespect countryman we have supplied B6's on Deadliest Catch for the last 8 years. and the VT500's for the Air rescue teams. for more info re: the certification & some video clips of the lavs in use, - check out there website: www.voicetechnologies.net PS- we are dealers for both lav manufacturers, and cant wait to interface them with the Lectro WM TX's Thank you- Frank
