Michael P Clark
Howard Cosell wore something very similar to broadcast sports games.
Marc Wielage
Jeez, that looks like a 635A! Damn thing must've weighed 2 or 3 pounds. I got to work with Cosell a couple of times when my old TV station did remotes for ABC back in the early 1970s. Very nice man, at least to the crew. But by then, we were using Sony ECM-50s (sometimes a pair). --Marc W.
Jeff Babb
If you paint it green they can key it out in post. J
Guest Eric Lamontagne
I prefer the latest model with the spring suspension system. It's sort of like a steady cam rig. Works great for close ups! Eric
studiomprd
even before Mr. Cossel, Dave Garroway used a similar rig as host of the (original) NBC "Today" show in the 50's. sorry, no pictures.
S Harber
OK, so since we really haven't heard the response we wanted, namely orders, we are now introducing yet another mounting product that is sure to revolutionize the world of location sound as we all know it. http://homepage.mac.com/dangmeprod/PhotoAlbum4.html 4-1 1/2" and 4-2 1/2" screws will be included. jason porter
I've been developing my own system. it involves a stainless steel ring (sized to your index finger) and the matching mic-clip (depending in which lav you use) welded to the steel ring. Stainless is a must to avoid rust and corrosion. the real trick is getting enough force behind the punch to get the mic properly placed in the offending "talents" throat. "Maybe next time you'll listen to me and wear UNSTARCHED COTTON!!!" Like I said, it's a work in progress... -Jason (I hope I didn't go too far, heh-heh)

S Harber
In our never-ending pursuit, we have yet another very useful rig courtesy of the folks at Get Smart. Scott Harber/CQ/Catfish
Michael P Clark
I'll buy that! How much? I'd bet a CS-3 with the better rear rejection would be ideal to keep the blade noise down. Keep up the great work!
old school
Hey Steve, nice R & D on the unit, Looks like something Catfish designed. He is a good guy. Does he get to fly it? I mean operate it? CrewC
