Rakesh Anderson
I welded some handles to my rt 10 cart. They make a huge difference in the manuverability of the thing. The top deck when bolted tight makes the cart a lot more rigid. I used scraps I had lying around so it didn't cost much. I used water pipe (mild steel) 1/2 inch inner diameter for the handles because the outer diameter fit BMX grips perfectly. The deck is made of plywood with square steel bars that hold the whole thing togther. Undo the 4 bolts that hold the shelf to the cart and it folds down, and even with the handles sticking up, fits in the trunk of my tiny Hyundai. Philip Perkins
Dude, that's the cart Rock 'n Roller SHOULD be making!! Handles, lip around the shelf--well done, they should pay you for R+D. phil p

Sound Grab
I'm not sure how the R10 folds in comparison to the R12 that I own, but when you fold the cart do the rubber bmx handles rub on the opposite U-handle on the way down?

The U handle with the BMX grips lays on top of the other U handle when folded down.
Sound Grab
I understand.. unfortunately on my cart I have my boom holders welded on the same side that you have your bmx handles.. I guess I'd have to break out the measuring tape to see how tight the fit would be.
ChrisH
I just got the R12 it has the larger wheels which I think is totally worth it. I love these carts minimalist configurable design, and so much lighter than mag-liner carts.
Geoff Tirrell
cool mod I have been thinking of making a similar shelf but with a set of sleeved steel bars similar to what you have on the lower deck so that it would expand with my cart. only problem is finding the motivation to do the metal work involved.
