color xlr mic cables

Most support companies have a variety of colored audio cable and can custom make special lengths/colors. However, if you haven't already, you might consider going with black cable and use colored caps for the connectors. For Neutrik connectors, there are two types of caps. One type must be installed before soldering the connector (and cannot be removed without unsoldering), The other type (my preference) has a flat spot for labling, and can be securely added and changed without unsoldering the connector. Both types are quite inexpensive.

The problem with those colored Neutrik boots is that they sadly don't fit on the newer Neutrik XLR connectors (which, to me, are far preferable since they still lock but don't have that annoying tab on the male side that always breaks off).  I haven't seen any colored ones made for the new-style Neutriks yet, but hopefully they will come soon.  Glen, do you have a part # for the second type you mention, or are they also only available for the old-style Neutrik XLRs?
