atheisticmystic
Anybody here involved with this new show??? http://www.nbc.com/stars-earn-stripes/ After wearing a SD744, a SD442 and (3) 411a TXs on my chest during a reality sizzle shoot last week, the thought of some of you peeps carrying even more on your shriekingly taut vertebral discs made me shiver. So I'm curious about what the workflow was on this show. My good lady doctor has some concerns about this latest hybrid-mutation of militarized entertainment, but I told her that there are worse things than losing a few G-List "celebrities" to friendly fire. jacefivesound
While I didn't work on this particular show, I can tell you that a 788, 8 receivers, 3 transmitters, and 4 VPXs with a battery distro is nothing out of the ordinary. Those in 'reality' can expect to wear those rigs 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week.

MatthewFreedAudio
I put together this small, upright Magliner to work from for the last 6 months on a show. It was worth every penny (and wasn't even too expensive)! jacefivesound
did the same as you Matt, except with a rock n rolla. Keep in in the car in case of 90 minute OTFs. Luckily I haven't done much pack mule work in the past year.
