staudio
If my headphones are on I can't hear you just about every time I'm working at a public/news event (usually for network news ) someone walks up to me (the only person with headphones on in the group) and ask "what station you guys with?" and then tries to have a conversation with me.......it ceases to amaze me.... berniebeaudry
Too much print for a shirt but the other day I am on a gig Following the camera man and producer and someone shouts out " Ha the sound guy is always the old guy " Really struck me as funny and mostly true Tom Maloney That's because it takes years of experience to get years of experience. MattinSTL
A cam op once told me he worked with a sound mixer that had a T-shirt that said,"Place Key Light Here!" It might have been a boom op that was wearing. I read the whole thread to see if anybody missed this obvious one... I NEVER set up sound until lighting is 100%... and I still find the best spot to key As a Walken fan... how about a cartoon walken talking head cam op looking over asking if you're sending the right tone?
