thebrengun
I love it! It's wrong for sure but it's nice to see...I miss the days when the camera was worthy of the dolly or tripod it sat upon.

Olle Sjostrom
It should have a little speaker in there to simulate the sound of film rolling. It makes everyone on set just SO focused. But on the other hand, maybe not.

Marc Wielage
I do in some ways miss the sound of whirring film through the gate on shoots. But I'm also reminded of being on a big-time sitcom set in the late 1990s, shooting 4 simultaneous film cameras, with a director who liked to casually walk in and give actors advice and chat during scenes. The associate producer would be sweating the expense, and would sidle up to the director and mutter "$6 a second... $6 a second... $6 a second..." (or whatever the then-current lab rate was for stock, developing, and dailies).

OmahaAudio
What a perfect place to store your waffles! Or batteries or something. I mean, if you're going to have to throw some weight on the end of your rig for balance you might as well use something that looks classy, and that Arri mag looks classy as hell.
