Crew Booking Services

Whitney,

One of the production companies I work for quite a bit (doing both camera and sound) is signed up with several of these agencies.  I am currently at 107 days on one invoice for a one-man band shoot.  They are also refusing to pay three hours of overtime because the producer did not specifically call and get approval for it (even though the client was over an hour late for an interview and we had a three hour drive both ways - which we did inform them.)  Most of the shoots for these agencies seem to go at least 60 days before payment if not more.  I think the booker for the production company gets irritated with us local crew people because we have started asking who/what the shoot is for/with before we say if we are available or not.
