Im a ProTools man and I do have spare licence however, I'm pretty sure it ain't going to run to well. What's some low resource record software? maybe Audacity? cmgoodin Posted November 27, 2012 Report Share Posted November 27, 2012 Pro Tools is a severe memory Hog on Windows platform. It has gotten better in newer versions though . You need at least 4 GB and preferably 8 GB to even run it. Audacity shoule work fine for your needs, however It probalby won't record and playback more than 2 tracks at a time though on underpowered laptop. I set up a test recording from my mixpre d, worked great using reaper. ill give ntrack a go to, any other recommendations for software?
