695 Boom Op and Sound Utility Available (West Hollywood)

I'm a 34 year old transplant from the music industry where I worked as a session musician and touring drummer. I discovered location sound 5 years ago and I've been working steadily as a non union mixer on low budget features and short films for the last 2 years.

A majority of my Mixer jobs included me booming. I didn't have to boom but it was a personal choice. I really enjoy being on set and I have a good personality when it comes to dealing with the other depts. I would use my boom op as a 2nd boom and sound utility which came in very handy on the fast moving lower budget shoots.

Now that I'm in the union, I would love to continue booming or doing utility for other union mixers in the coming year. I have worked and continue to work with Peter Meiselmann and I did my original internship with Mixer - Mark Ulano, Boom Op - Tom Hartig, and Sound Utility - Adam Blantz 3 years ago on "Big Momma's House 2." Any of those guys can tell you about me and my bad habits. )

I'm grateful for work at any budget level so please don't worry about offending me with lower budget jobs. I also own an ENG bag rig with a Tascam HD-P2 recorder, Comteks and a Timecode Slate. So I can cover days for you as well.
