David Settlemoir
I have an associate who just got a new iPhone. Several times I have not received emails he said he sent from his new device. How does the iPhone deal with mail servers? Is it different sending an email with wifi versus AT&Ts cell service? I don't have wifi on my Alltel BlackBerry 8830, but when I send an email it uses the outgoing mail server for the account I send it on and shows up in my "sent" mail folder (at least on my yahoo email account.) I know one of my old ISPs blocked using their smtp server if you weren't connected to their network, but of course that was on dial-up... Darren
I have had NO issues sending email using WiFi. Does your friend know if the email went through WiFi or edge? You checked your SPAM filters; both on your computer and at the server level?
David Settlemoir
I talked to him again and he said I am not the only one having trouble getting his emails. He also said he was using the AT&T service rather than wifi. I guess I'll suggest to give AT&T a call. Thanks everyone for the recommendations.
