But I've never paid much attention to the wing until it crapped out on me last week. Turns out the MXLR was quite corroded. Now that I think about it, it does make sense; pointed up as it is, it's much more susceptible to the elements than other poles. Other than having to Dremel off one of the two protruding guides along the circumference to match the original XLR, it's an easy repair. An ounce of prevention...
