I looked all overthe Apple website, and can't find any info aobut it. I looked and didn't find too, which makes dubious that the rumor is true. FCP has been able to import BWFs in the past, but treats them as normal .wav files and loses the TC data. I emailed Apple about this, but don't expect much of a reply. Usually if Apple adds real functionality to something they tout it a bit more. There's always hope I guess, it would certainly make things easier.
