JackHenry
Can anyone advise me the correct type (or part number) of connector for the Schoeps CCM mics? And perhaps a link to a supplier. And who here has made a cable up using these? Tips, tricks? Regards John
Olle Sjostrom
http://www.pro-sound.com/BrandSch/SSCH439.html Think that might be what you're looking for, although there's no picture. But I guess calling Pro Sound won't be disappointing. Sending an email to Schoeps probably wouldn't be disappointing either. I know at least one guy here on the board's gonna tell you something about headwear.. But ignore that then.

Simon Davies
This is the part number from Lemo. Word of warning - I'd imagine there will be minimum order quantities Lemo FVN.00.650.KLAC31Y triaxial straight plug http://www.lemo.nl/assets/files/Catalogus/00%20Series%20preliminary.pdf Cheers, Simon

JackHenry
usual suspects... Yes, I know that already. But as I asked, what is the part number?
Olle Sjostrom
Oh my god! I can't believe I wrote that post just so mike wouldn't have to be blunt again, and yet he went and did it!!! And right after Simon gracefully contributed with a correct answer... Wow. Just wow. Never ceases to amaze me..

Olle Sjostrom
So when a manufacturer commits a crime, is that a hat crime?

JackHenry
Can anyone offer any information about wiring one of these connectors up? I was looking at my current connector, (attached to a cable) but you can't open them like an XLR to see how it's soldered etc.
Olle Sjostrom
I've never done it. But I think maybe any usual suspect might have more info on that, or maybe even Schoeps. Perhaps Eric Toline knows...
jason porter
Lemo connectors usually have a "chuck" that has to be unscrewed, then an insert with tiny solder pots...painful and usually worth the cost to have a pro take care of it.
