Mixing surround to headphones

Sorry, not really a plug-in, but a filtering approach using Blauert's bands could work. That's basically just some EQ settings, and I've successfully tried this to get "Fernchöre" (distant ensembles) in a Schütz oratorio recording to appear sort-of rear.

Logic comes with a pretty cool thing called "binaural panner" and binaural post processing to make sure the mix will sound ok in speakers as well. Check out the manual for details, it's too much to try to explain here.

Bear in mind this is a binaural effect.

It's not true binaural spatial perception, which depends on the folds in your ears (and varies with each individual).

Instead, it's an algorithmic approximation based on well researched head related transfer functions. Pretty good, and amazing when you hear it.

But not the same as using a binaural mic to record a live orchestra. And you're upmixing(?) from quad, rather than starting with a binaural recording.
