Edmond Smith
Hey everyone! Hope you're all well or getting there. It's been a while since I posted anything, but anywhome-and-how; I'm going to New Orleans (Nyawlins) for a family reunion next weekend and was wondering, if I have the time, what kind of sites to go to, or if anyone wants to hang out and show me the town!? Thanks, Edmond

old school
+1 on visiting RVD. On Saturdays they have an open house hang out at PSS. Stay away from Bourbon St IMO. Lots of music to hear and great food to eat. CrewC
Fiftyfoot
A discussion from before PSS opened in N.O.
Boomboom
Just back from there so here's my little ''highlights'': -definitely go visit PSS -restaurants: Herbsaint , Coquette , Atchafalaya. -Magazine street in general. House of Rum is a good hangout place for a quick snack and happy hours. -Been to NOLA in '95 before that and believe me, Bourbon st. has changed and not for the best. Poor, miserable stripers standing on the sidewalk to sell the place, garbage and barf smell all along the street. Royal st. nearby is not too bad and along the river some nice touristic spots. The Crescent City Brewhouse is still there and got a good weizen for those hot days (one of the first local brewers of the place). Personnal hi-highlight: seeing Los Lobos and The Black Keys the day after perform at Jazz Fest.
old school
Personal hi-highlight: seeing Los Lobos and The Black Keys the day after perform at Jazz Fest. Two of the best bands out there IMO. Envious. CrewC
