Manx
Hey guys, I'm working on a documentary shoot where they're using 2 canon xf 100 cameras. There are no timecode inputs on the camera. I'm recording on a SD 664. Is there a way to send TC? Thanks.

Hi, How about your read the manual and you learn on how to tc sync this camera from your sd664. It seems to me like this camera does take tc in through a standard bnc connector. If it doesnt, you could also take the timecode output and jam your 664 from it. Looks like homeworks are past due

pbrox
I believe the XF100 does not have Genlock/Timecode/HD-SDI, only the XF105.
Manx
I don't think that I am that blind for not even seeing TC inputs! Nothing we can do right?
studiomprd
" There are no timecode inputs on the camera.... Is there a way to send TC? " Yes, just connect your TC out to the... OH, there is no inputs... never-mind that does the production's workflow even support SMPTE/EBU TC ?? There is always the good old: have the camera(s) take images of a TC slate... maybe input TC as an audio signal on one of the audio tracks, if the workflow will even support that...
