Phil Rosati
Does anyone know the exact (roughly) dimensions, height, width, depth, of the eight channel chassis AD 255 by Audio Developments? I am helping a friend fit a cart for one, but we don't have it in front of us, and I can't find it anywhere on line... Thanks for your help! Guest jimg
Phil, Try the Audio Developments website: http://www.audio.co.uk/default.htm They have PDF's of manuals available and I'm sure the dimensions are in the specs. Phil Rosati
Hey Jim, thank you, but I meant to mention this in my first post. For whatever reason the links won't work on my computer, they come up as "not found". But, I luckily got ahold of a friend of mine that has one, and he gave me the rough dimensions. Thank you. Anyone want to weigh in on their thoughts of the board? Thanks. Phil
Philip Perkins
Hey Jim, thank you, but I meant to mention this in my first post. Anyone want to weigh in on their thoughts of the board? Thanks. Phil I spent 17 years with an AD145, modded and used the heck out of it. I have no experience with their later boards, but their design is very conservative and they use very high quality parts. They've never had much of a presence in the US, and I don't know if they have service here now--they didn't then. If I ever go looking for a portable DC-powerable console again I would certainly look at them seriously. Philip Perkins
