RPSharman Posted October 25, 2013 Report Share Posted October 25, 2013 I have a friend producing a pilot presentation of a Kardashian/Duck Dynasty type reality show. Not a pilot, a presentation to get a pilot. She asked me to do it (free, of course), but aside from my not being available, I suggested her money would be better spent not flying someone from LA, but hiring an experienced local with the proper equipment and skill-set. I suggested that she'd be wasting a lot of money on her presentation if it sounded bad. Cameras can pretty much point at what's happening and look fine, but she ought to have good sound. Whether she listens, I don't know, but I thought perhaps I'd supply her with names of people she could contact. Given the location, I'd expect that whoever does this presentation, and does a good job, will likely be hired for the series, if it comes along. But that and $10 gets you into a matinee.
