Sweet.

NBC News also reveals that:

"The gadget's battery can be recharged the old-fashioned way via plugging it in to the grid, but it gets extra battery power by harvesting energy from the electromagnetic noise in the surrounding environment, such as Wi-Fi signals."

Is it April 1 already?

Self-recharging and the ability to silence the outside world... Very sci-fi. We sure this isn't one of Lectro's offerings from their New Products and Potato Cannon division?

If this is real and works though... I'm in for a dozen too.

hmm what if it accidentally cancels some of the inside sounds too? Like the transients of speech or something like that?

It's only cancelling sounds that strike the surface, so if it did cancel sounds from the inside, you'd end up with a window that didn't reflect sound back at you...right?

Or, is it that the sounds inside, don't get transmitted to the outside?

<<<Stefanich is currently looking for a partner and funding to complete the engineering for the device and usher it toward commercial production.>>>

Lectrosonics is also looking for funding, engineers  and partners to bring three great concepts to market:

1. Adobe mobile homes. For those that want to live in an upscale trailer park.

2. Microwave refrigerators. In just seconds, you can have that frosty, cold beer when you come home from the store.

3. Twenty-four hour, drive-in theaters. With the addition of daytime viewing hours, drive-ins can make a comeback.

To hell with the partners and engineers; just bring the funding.

Larry "Double Your Money" Fisher
