d3sound
Wanted to see if anyone knows of a good playback app for I phone?? I have used audio loop, but it won't work with the new Mac OS ...
taylormadeaudio
I recently downloaded this app: http://www.liveplayback.de/ ...have yet to put it through paces, so jury's still out. Audio LoOp appears to be superior in many ways though. I think a lot of it depends on the parameters within which one needs to operate. If a simple playback system is needed, where accurate timecode reference isn't paramount, then this (along with many other apps) will likely suffice... but it really all depends on ones specific needs. I'm still reluctant to use my phone for playback - for many reasons. ~tt
Philip Perkins
Handy thing, but drives the battery down fast. Really embarassing if you forget to go "airplane mode" and you get a call while the phone is hot to the sound system... philp
rich
been using liveplayback on my current show. takes a bit of getting used to to get set up, but once you have your head around it, it works well, and being able to set and name cue points has been very useful for the music videos we have had. not properly tried it in ios7, though it does fine having briefly tried it just now. RPSharman
Google reveals 100s. If rather ask here too. It's a more sensible use of time when the search engines are too broad in their answer. I'd love an iPad or iPhone app which would be a reliable playback tool for very basic playback needs. iTunes sucks.
