John Steigerwald
Own one for ENG use. Love it. Very smooth, very quiet.
Pat Slater
I have an 8' (which fits in my pelican 1600 case), and an 18'. The company has been very communicative which is a big plus when buying in Australia (no dealers here yet.) The poles came with innovative features and perform well. Noah Timan
Anybody have experience with Loon Audio Boom Poles? Any opinions? I got to see and play with one from an operator who came in last year to day play. They're nice but WAAAY too expensive for what you get, in my opinion. At the end of the day, it's a fishpole. If there are special advantages or comforts to these poles, I'd be far more interested to hear those from experienced boom ops than mixers or anyone else. .02 nvt
Izen Ears
Are Loon poles better or smoother than Panamic? I never had such a great feel than with a Panamic, but I've only held a Loon once and never used it. Aren't they about the same price?
