Tom Visser
The way the math works on it is that there is a 2x crop factor with m43 and the Speedbooster widens it by .71x so the 11-16 becomes a 35mm equivalent 16-23. A wide lens and fisheye are not synonymous. The design of the lens dictates wether or not it is a fisheye or not, the fisheye basically not correcting the distortion. I spoke with a few people and they seem to think that the 11-16 with "speed booster / focal reducer" type of device should cover the sensor fine, so I'm gonna give it a try. If you don't use a speed booster type of adapter, the the 11-16 simply becomes a 22-32 "35mm equivalent" FOV and also the F2.8 is converted a full stop faster using the booster, or became the equivalent of an F2 lens - a secondary advantage of the speed booster.
