VASI Posted August 28, 2015 Report Share Posted August 28, 2015 From Aaton Facebook page: Major update for the CantarX3 with firmware 1.71 Main features- Digital filters/EQ on analog inputs- Delay on inputs- Into ingrid, routing of mono post fade (P1..P24)- Into outmaps, highlite a T1..T24 position, press shift+F5 to map post fade (P1..P24)- Backup of a full project- MS decoded or balanced in mixdown- Accurate timecode is maintaibed about 20 minutes in case of Cantar power off. VASI Posted January 6, 2016 Report Share Posted January 6, 2016 From Aaton Digital, Facebook page: Version 1.90 is available for download New in this version - Analog input status (phase inversion , analog filters, and EQ) added at the top of vumeters (for Mics, lines, Aes and Aes42). - Brand new line out and digital out management (see user manual for details). • Delay on line out can be set to up to 22 frames at 24 fps and 48 kHz (in ms of frame). • During playback, line out can be muted or not. • Beep indicator can be enabled or disabled on each line out. • The configuration used on line out can be defined for each position of the main selector. • Press [shift+ok] in LINE OUTMAPS screen to adjust it. • Multiple lineout selection allows quick setup. • Press [shift+arrow] to highlight multiple line out. - Adjustable headphone safety clamping. Adjust your clamping level in relation to the current headphone. Example with -6dB: With your cu rent headphone level, signal over full scale minus 6dB will be clamped into your headset. In PLAY/TEST/PPR/REC main selector position, press [Headphone+Blue] to toggle ON/OFF the clamping function. Yellow headphone icon means ON. [Headphone+Blue+jog] for quick clamping level setup. When the clamp is active on too high signal, headphone audio quality is affected and headphone icon blink in red. - Phase inversion added on AES and AES42 inputs. - EQ capability added on AES and AES42 inputs. These functions are available for digital mics even without smart AES42 communication. - Very low backlight level for night environment. - Contextual help is available in solo dialogs (Line, Mic, AES and AES42).
