coryallen
I am supervising audio on a reality-competition show which is traveling to Chicago for 3 weeks from 3/23 to 4/14, and am looking for a local A2 for the studio and location portions of the show. Rate is $350 for 12, and we're looking at 4-6 day weeks. Must be familiar with Lectrosonics SM-series wireless, Phonak Invisity earpieces and Comtek earwig & neckloop systems. Experience in reality-competition and cooking shows is a plus. If interested, send me a message. Thanks!
Mirror
$350 for 12? yikes!
VASI
Is A2. Not "production sound mixer" or "boom operator".
ccsnd
He shouldn't have any trouble finding someone decent in Chicago for an A2 at that price
studiomprd
decent price for non-union... come to think of it, with all the tiers, might even be better than some union rates...
John Steigerwald
Not directed at the OP, but $350/12 should be billed as an "Audio PA" at best. It's generally what they are in the reality world anyhow. I get that it's a different market, but no broadcast A2 would pick up the phone for that, and calling it an A2 position is disingenuous, IMO. /$.
Derek H
What is a good A2 rate?
