sebdunn
I recently bought a M-Audio Microtrack II recorder and have found the internal battery doesn't last very long. Does anyone know whether there is an external battery pack I can plug in to see me through the day before I can get to a charger?
Guest jimg
Take a look at the Tekkeon MP1500. It can also run your iPod, charge cell phones, etc. Takes 4 AA batteries. Available online for around $20. http://www.tekkeon.com/site/products-tekcharge1550.php Best regards, Jim
sebdunn
Many thanks Jim. It looks like the perfect device. Now I have to get it to South Africa somehow. Just for interest sake, our local supplier www.wantitall.co.za is charging $117 for the same product!!. I have sent them an email to say that they are despicable and blatantly ripping off the already over charged South African consumer. This is the story of our lives here. There seems to be the perception that as consumers of foreign marketed products, we are either stupidly ignorant or fabulously rich. Hence, the high prices of things. I have just seen B&H sell it (although out of stock) so might go that route. Best wishes Sebastian
